Once you are satisfied that you meet ALL Minimum Qualification Requirements, download and complete the appropriate Application to the right.

-Arcadia Security-
After completing the correct application (for how you wish to obtain employment) and gathering all documentation required, you must contact our office for our fax number.  Once given this number you may fax in your application along with all other pertinent documents.  All certifications and licenses must be photocopied and include with your application and a complete resume verifying status/training must be included.  If your application is not fully completed it will not be considered!

-Private Investigations & Force Security -
Complete the correct application (for how you wish to obtain employment).  You must make clear and color photocopies of all training and award documents, including all licenses and certifications applicable to the position applying for.  After gathering these items and completing the application you must mail in these documents to our office (address located on Contact Us).  These items “will not: be returned, so make sure you send copies!  You must provide an outline of case/work history/portfolio demonstrating your experience and expertise in any specific investigation or security work you want to be considered for.

After receipt of your complete application, CIA Management will review the information and documentation provided and select those candidates that are most qualified.  If you are selected you will be contact by a member of our staff with a date and time to begin the Hiring Process (outlined below).  If you have not been contacted it has been determined that either you have not met the minimum qualification requirements or we have received other applications which we deem a better fit or more qualified for employment.

HIRING PROCESS

If you have completed the “Application Process” and are selected to begin the “Hiring Process” you can expect the following.  Depending on the position you are applying for the average application and hiring process time “can take” up to 1 to 3 months.  If an emergency hire occurs due to a loss of staff or the beginning of a new contract that time can be expedited.

The lengthy employment process is to ensure we employ only the Most Dedicated and Qualified professionals available, who want to seek employment with CIA as a long term career and not just a quick job.

-FIRST INTERVIEW-
The initial (1st) interview with an applicant is performed by either Human Resources or Management staff.  Specific questions will be asked regarding the information provided in the application.  At this point, it is determined if the applicant meets our minimum requirements for the position in question.  Upon meeting these standards, the interview continues and the applicant’s background, experience, attitude, work ethic, appearance, and general suitability for employment are determined.  Based upon the application and the interview process, it will determine if the applicant would “fit” client’s needs at a specific site or employment position.  If so, the applicant proceeds to the next phase of the hiring process (2nd Interview).

-SECOND INTERVIEW-
Upon satisfactory completion of the first interview, some applicants will receive an additional pre-hire interview. Typically, this interview is conducted by member(s) of the operations staff in an oral board, who are directly responsible for client accounts.  The purpose of this interview is to determine and/or reinforce the applicant’s “fit” to the client account or employment position where the applicant has been targeted for assignment.  If it is in agreement by operations staff that the applicant is a “fit” for the position applied, the applicant proceeds to the next phase of the hiring process (physical fitness test).

-PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST-
Upon satisfactory completion of the second interview, some applicants may receive an “invitation” to take a physical fitness test.  This test consists of:

Running up approx. 18 steps (a distance of 25 feet)

Running down a corridor (or street - 680 feet)

Turning around at an orange cone at the end of the corridor (or street)

Running back down the corridor (or street - 680 feet)

Then dragging a weight equivalent to a 180 pound mannequin the last 100 feet to the finish mark (a total of aprox. 1,385 feet.).

This test must be completed in 3:06 (3 minutes, 6 seconds) or less.

-BACKGROUND CHECK-
Background checks are conducted to verify all information provided by the applicant within the limits of the law.  Past employers are contacted by telephone, writing and/or in person for verification of employment dates, duties, etc.  Personal references which were “or” were not provided by the applicant are also contacted.  Additionally, if military service is a part of the applicant’s background, the DD-Form 214 (Separation Notice) is checked to verify dates, rank, type of discharge, and all service-related training.  Motor vehicle records (MVR) and police record checks are performed in and out of state if applicable.  For some accounts and at client request, a Credit Check will also be obtained.

-EMPLOYMENT OFFER-
After satisfactory completion of the 1st & 2nd Interview, the successful completion of the Physical Fitness Test and verification of all Background Information, CIA will compare results from all applicants and then may or may not extend an offer of employment based off the final results from all applicants.  “Only the most qualified will be extended an offer of employment.”
